Here we are again in another year of The Ashbourne Beer Festival. The 4th so far and going strong. Thanks to everyone who supported us last year by drinking all of the beer and we hope to see you again at this years event.

The aim of this years event is to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our local microbreweries, of which there are more and more, year on year. The 2007 event will feature over 40 beers mainly from Derbyshire and Staffordshire and a few from a little further afield. The beer range will vary from pale to dark and from weak to strong, with porters and I.P.A.s a plenty, and of course the obligatory firkin of 'Sarah Hughes' - 'Dark Ruby Mild'. A good selection of real scrumpy ciders will also be available.

The Green Man Hotel's Function Suite No.2 plays host again to this years proceedings once again promoting a friendly atmosphere and good facilities for all of you ale enthusiasts out there to charge your glasses and sup the ale.

Live music will also feature at this years festival. Entry is FREE all day and all night. Festival glasses will also be available.

You will be able to take a memory of your favourite beer home with you by purchasing t-shirts with the pump clip of your favourite beer printed on the front. A perfect commemoration of your visit.

Tetra-pak carry-out kegs will also be available for the transportation of your beer home with you.
