The Green Man & Black Man's Head Royal Hotel offers you two bars, both with their own unique styles. Both bars have a wide selection of drinks and a great pub menu.

The Johnson Bar: - The modern feeling side of the Green Man, with 3 large plasma screen TV’s showing The Big Games on Sky Sports, a fantastic pool table and very comfortable contemporary seating. Most Thursdays the Johnson Bar hosts live Bands and during the summer and spring months on Fridays and occasionally on Saturdays the Johnson Bar hosts live DJs. 

The Boswell Bar:- This oak panelled lounge bar is warmed by fires and furnished with leather sofas and arm chairs, it’s the perfect place to relax with a fine wine or perfect pint of real ale.  You can also dine in the Boswell Bar with a meal from our great menu or our chef’s daily specials board. 

The Good Beer Guide:- The Green Man & Black Man’s Head Royal Hotel can now be found in CAMARA’s good beer guide 2007.  We offer a selection of up to 6 different real ales each week.  The Green Man even has its own Beer brewed especially for the hotel.  Its name is Dr. Johnson’s and is brewed by The Leatherbritches Brewery at Fenny Bently. The Green Man Royal Hotel is also beggining to put real ciders on the pumps in both the Johnson Bar and Boswell Bar.

Our Menu:- Our food is prepared using local produce by our excellently trained kitchen staff.  We have a wide range on offer and we invite you to come for lunch or an evening meal. See our menu.

The Disco:- Every Saturday night the Green Man puts on a disco it our largest function room. The entrance fee is £3.50 and it is open until 2am.
